The Roots

  The end of 2019 saw a seventeen year-old girl prepare herself for the journey towards womanhood. It was through the guidance of women surrounding her, such as her mother, Oumie, aunts, mentors, close friends, and a handful of influencers, that she chose to pick up the newfound hobby of cultivating femininity. Since those beginning days, this hobby has challenged my mind, nurtured my lady soul, and revealed to me the essence and joy of truly being woman.

There is a hidden treasure-chest within every young girl's heart. During a season in her life that is unique for each girl, she unlocks this trove, releasing pearlescent beauty that pours out like milk & honey.

From the moment I understood the alphabet, my fingers have tingled with the urge to capture thoughts & stories in word form. I love writing. It is the safe haven where mind becomes stream, flowing through the ink of  a ballpoint pen. I am thankful for my fellow yellow honeybees who support this deep desire. And I hope that through these words of mine, and the faithfulness of the Lord, your desires will be nourished within the innermost parts of your heart.
